Debbie Brabazon - Clinical and administrative assistant
Debbie is our clinical and administrative assistant, at the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. She has been working as part of our vascular division since 1997. Debbie’s warm and caring approach to personalized service will help make your EVLT experience a positive one from beginning to end.

Dr. Ronald Lewis - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Lewis is a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 1972. His training was at McGill University. He was on staff at McGill University teaching hospitals for many years until he moved to Ottawa in 2002. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatment for venous reflux disease. He participates in annual international venous disease conferences. He is a member of the American Phlebology Society. His depth of experience enhances the expertise at the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been performing the EVLT procedure since its introduction in Ottawa in February 2007

Dr. Prasad Jetty - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Jetty is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa and a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 2002. His training was at the University of Ottawa and at the Cleveland Clinic, in minimally invasive vascular therapy. He has a Masters’ degree in Clinical Epidemiology. He has been performing the EVLT procedure since its introduction in Ottawa in February 2007.

Dr. George Hajjar - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Hajjar is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa, and a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 1988. His training was at the University of Ottawa and at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an experienced surgeon in the treatment of simple and complex vein disorders.

Dr. Tim Brandys - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Brandys is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa, and a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 1996, and a member of the American College of Surgeons since 2003. His training was at the University of Ottawa. He holds a Masters’ degree in Medical education from the University of Toronto. He has a very broad range of experience in the treatment of vein disease.

Dr. Sudhir Nagpal - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Nagpal is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa and a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 1998. His training was at the University of Ottawa and at the University of Pittsburgh, in minimally invasive vascular therapy. He is the director of the Ottawa Hospital Vascular Diagnostic Centre and has extensive experience in ultrasound and treatment of venous disorders.

Dr. Andrew Hill - Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Hill is an associate professor at the University of Ottawa and a vascular surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Laser Vein Centre. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada since 1993 and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. His training was at the University of Toronto, and at L’Universite de Sherbrooke, in minimally invasive vascular therapy. He is the Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa. He has extensive experience in the treatment of vein disorders.
